Return & Refund Policy

1. No Refunds or Returns

At K Ferments, we take exceptional pride in crafting our living, probiotic-rich fermented foods. Due to the nature of our products being perishable, temperature-sensitive, and strictly consumable items, we maintain a strict NO RETURNS and NO REFUNDS policy.

2. Why No Returns?

Because our ferments are live, active cultures, their safety and quality depend on proper storage (refrigeration) once they leave our facility. Once a product has been delivered to you, we cannot guarantee how it has been stored, meaning we can never safely restock or resell it. For the health and safety of all our customers, all sales are final.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

While we do not offer refunds, we want to ensure you receive a quality product. If your order arrives damaged (e.g., broken glass jar, leaked severely in transit) or is materially defective, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

To report an issue:

  • Email us immediately at hello@kferments.co.ke
  • Include your order number.
  • Provide clear photograph(s) of the un-opened, damaged product(s).

We will review your submission and, at our sole discretion, we may issue a replacement for the damaged items. We do not issue cash or credit card refunds under any circumstances.

4. Live Ferment Activity

Please note: bubbling, slight pressure upon opening, or liquid occasionally rising to the top of the jar are normal characteristics of active, raw, fermented foods. They do not constitute a "defective" product. In fact, it means your food is alive and packed with probiotics!
